Cloud technology is becoming important for most companies, with entire businesses running on the cloud in some cases. Many companies using Exchange Servers for business emails have also jumped on the cloud bandwagon, taking into account the obvious advantages such as increased reliability, reduced downtime and cost, and more. Organizations that are skeptical about the security and reliability of the cloud have embraced hybrid Exchange environments until they are ready for a complete Office 365 migration.

"With the adoption of hybrid environments, administrators are tasked with continuously monitoring not only their on-premises Exchange Servers but also their Exchange Online environments," said Manikandan Thangaraj, director of product management at ManageEngine. "Since Exchange Reporter Plus already helps secure and vigilantly monitor our customers' Exchange data, it was a given that we would extend similar treatment to their cloud infrastructure."

With the new Exchange Online analysis functionality, administrators can:

  • Fetch mailbox size statistics
  • Monitor email traffic
  • Audit activities performed on mailboxes
  • Identify spam emails
  • Detect emails carrying malware

Enhanced UX with Exchange Reporter Plus New User Interface

A user-centric design is what makes a good product, and this is especially true for solutions that IT administrators work with on a daily basis. With this in mind, the Exchange Reporter Plus GUI has been revamped with a straightforward layout that helps users complete requests faster. Users can now select filter attributes with very few clicks and from the same window, as opposed to the pop-up window in the previous UI. The new GUI requires minimal navigation, thereby improving administrators' productivity.
